Sue Harper loves museums. From large urban museums like the State Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, Russia to the tiny Kurow Museum on Te Waipounamu, the south island of New Zealand, she finds treasures everywhere she goes. She has learned that just looking at an object or a belonging is never enough. Finding the story behind what’s on a shelf, hanging in a display case or hidden in a drawer is what makes visiting a museum so much fun. Sue has co-authored ten textbooks and has written three books for reluctant readers. Her writing can also be found in magazines in Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
